What is a dedicated IP address?

All emails you send out through Reloadify are linked to an IP address. This IP address makes sure your email is sent and arrives at your customers. At Reloadify, you automatically make use of a shared IP address. This means that you and other customers will use one IP address. This way you are together, with other customers, responsible for your send reputation. Our spam policy ensures that no spam can or may be sent using Reloadify. We do our best to maintain deliverability ratings for these shared IPs. A shared IP address is used by many companies. That is why email clients have an extra check for spam. This can cause your emails to automatically end up in the spam box of your customer.

Do you want full control over your own send reputation? With a dedicated IP address, you and only you are responsible for your send reputation. This way you are in full control. You alone decide what e-mails are sent over this IP address. The advantages of a dedicated IP address:

  • Exclusively for your customers
  • Your emails are less likely to end up in the spam folder
  • No constant verification with the email clients is needed
  • Email clients give you priority over a dedicated IP address.

Your sending reputation with no worries

When you purchase a dedicated IP address from us, you are assigned a completely new IP address. You will be the first to send traffic over it. Because many e-mail clients find it ‘suspicious’ that an IP address is created out of the blue and suddenly receives a lot of traffic, you always have to warm up your IP address.

We do this automatically for you with a warm-up plan. At the first sendings we make sure that your mails are split. So part of it goes over your own new IP address and part over a shared IP address. The tool uses an algorithm to gradually increase the sending over your own dedicated IP over time. With each send, another piece of reputation is built up. Once your IP address has warmed up, this split stops. So you never have to worry about your IP address, the warming of it, the reputation or the deliverability.

Is a dedicated IP address something for me?
